Castor Gigashelf


Castor, a Canadian design studio known for odd, yet high-end, artistic furniture wanted a website that would showcase their work while giving a nod to the quirky and distinctly Canadian inspiration behind their pieces. So we created the GigaShelf - a billion pixel image of a shelf, filled with objects the Castor designers use for inspiration, shot with a GigaPan camera (originally built for

the Mars Rover expedition), and transformed into their website.

We also created a mobile version that allowed people to view a virtual Castor Gigashelf as if it were right in front of them.
